Dickens Village “Otto of Roses Perfumery”- Dickens Village

Add an echo of sweet scent to your Dickens Village collection! History tells us that Perfumeries originally sold oils and pomanders to keep undesirable orders at bay. Later they became part of the cosmetic industry and were used by men and women of high society. Made from high-quality porcelain, its intricately detailed features are hand-painted by skilled artisans. The building is illuminated using a bulb and standard light cord.

Victorian England, at the time of Charles Dickens, was the center of culture for the world and where many traditions we celebrate today took shape. Its architecture, customs, and history are inherent in the Dickens Village Series from Department 56.
