This hand-crafted fine bone china cup is made in the potteries in Stoke-on-Trent, one of Great Britain’s last remaining craft industries, using traditional methods which have remained unchanged for generations. Fine bone china is translucent, pure white in color and is stronger and more chip-resistant than earthenware china, and has been made in Stoke-on-Trent since the 1790s.

Each mug takes 7 days to make; it is cast in a mold and is finished by hand by highly skilled glazers and lithographers. Bone china has a long history in the English countryside and lends itself to Alison’s heritage creations, ensuring rich and beautiful colors on every design.
